The NOASS/NMFS Office of Law Enforcement has been proposed a 38’ Viking FCS designed Aluminum HysuCraft Pilothouse Patrol Boat for Fisheries Enforcement in the Gulf of Mexico. The high cruise speed and long range of the boat are key to operational requirements.

Trailer-ability and easily maintained outboard engines were also important to allow wide coverage of the Gulf of mexico from Mississippi to Texas.

The boats feature a walk-around pilothouse with air-conditioning and two births for operations lasting more than one day. Viking FCS worked closely with NOAA to develop a deck layout and bow arrangement tailored to their mission of boarding various sized vessels offshore.

the boat has a complete electronics suite including rugged panel-mount computer & FLIR Night vision.
